WOW! Time does fly
We (Kirk and I) went on a cruise with our friends the Smith's. We had a blast and hated coming back to the cold.
Our family hosted the Phillips' family Thanksgiving. I was a nice dinner at the church.
We spent Christmas in St. George, we had a great time with family down there celebrating the birth of our Savior.
Jan. left us wondering if we were going to be able to the swing financing a new home. We had money on a lot, and had until the end of Jan. to get a loan. It was Jan. 27th that we closed on a construction loan. We now have 6 months to get something built.
Feb. took us to Phoenix to watch Justin play soccer. It was fun, warm and the team did very good. It was along ride home, to not very warm weather.

So it's been a while
So much has happened I don't even know where to start.
We (Kirk, Justin and I) had a wonderful time on Trek. We wouldn't trade those memories for anything. I would in courage anyone who gets the chance to go.
We also had the month of July, new puppies. Our dog Ginger had 5 puppies. One didn't make it through the night and another died after a long week of trying to nurse it back to health. But we had fun with the 3 puppies that did live. They are so cute and they were fun, but for me... I'm glad they all have new homes.
The kids all started school in Aug. Justin is a Soph. at Riverton, Jared is in 7th grade and Krista is in third. They are all doing very good.
Justin is still playing comp. soccer, and basketball and would love to put in a round or two of golf if he had time. He's playing now on 2 comp. teams which means soccer everyday and sometimes twice a day. He usually has 3 or 4 games a week.
Jared is doing his rock climbing and loving it. He's loving jr. high and all the girls.
Krista has had some excitement in her young life, just after her 9th birthday, she called from school with a tummy ache. It turned out to be appendicitis. She spent a day in the hospital and we were just about ready to leave when she threw up all over, so they sent us back to the room.
We went to both temple open houses, we're not in either on their boundries, although we do live closer to the Oquiah Mountain one. We love being able to see them from different spots in out home.
The boys both did a triathlon in Kamas. It was in Sept. Justin placed 2nd in his group which was 14 to 19. Jared took first in his age group which was the 10-13 year olds. They both did really good and had fun doing it. Krista says she's going to try it next time.
So, I think that sums up my life. We are always doing something, which makes it hard to get to the blog some days. I should do better. It's fun to read others blogs and see the happenings in their lives, I know they can't be any busier then I am and they seem to find the time to blog. I guess I should just find the time. So, until the next time. Have a good fall.

Days gone by
Soccer season ended and life settled down for about a day. May came and went as fast as the other months and now it's June.
Krista had her final Choir Concert, Jared's climbing team went on a weekend climb, and Justin finished high school soccer by lettering. It was a great month. Jared also turned 12 and that was exciting too.
Memorial weekend we went camping with our friends. We hadn't really had the trailer out and knew this would be a great weekend to join the rest of the world in camping. We loaded up the trailer and put the dune buggy in the back of the truck and took off. We ended up at Scofield Res. it was fun, a little wet at times but fun. We got there a little later then we wanted, and as they were taking the dune buggy out of the back of the truck, the back end hit the back window and shattered it. Not much we could do about it now, let's not let it ruin our outting. We ended up not being able to ride where we were camping so we put it back in the truck and on Sat. we went to find a place to ride. It was a little wet on Sat. and not very warm, but we found a place we could ride and had a great time. Our friends had their 2 4-wheelers and we had the buggy so most everyone got to ride. As we were backing the buggy into the truck to leave, the buggy died and wouldn't start, it wouldn't even move. Don't know how, but the shaft ended up breaking. We were just glad it broke by the ramp of the truck rather then out on the trail somewhere. So with the help of some wonderful neighbors, we loaded it back into the truck. We back to the trailer hooked up and came home. We decided we didn't need another thing happening to us while camping. But the trailer was great. Can't wait to go again, after we get the window fixed.
Memorial day we went to Morgan (Porterville) and cleaned up the graves and had a picnic at the park. I made my family stop by my long time friend (Ande Andrus) house so I could visit with her. It's was fun to see my friend I hadn't seen in a really long time.
I also started Krista's room after much begging and wanting the red and white stiped wallpaper with sports all over it down. I don't know why she didn't like the sports idea in her room, but we took the paper off the wall and painted her room for her. It's almost put back together now.
