Happy 4th of July!

It's been so long I don't even know where to start or what we've done. It's amazing how time can fly by so quickly and I don't even know it.

The kids have all finished school and now it summertime!

We have season passes to Seven Peaks, so we are trying to use them at least once a week. So far so good. We wondered with the weather there for a while if we would be able to use them at all.
Some people don't like surprises, but I do. Mom could even get me to wrap my own Christmas presents and I won't know what was in the box and I didn't like to look because that would ruin the surprise Christmas morning. So knowing that I liked surprises; Kirk had a surprise B-day for me; he thought it would be great since I was turning that big "40", it was great to see friends I hadn't seen for a long time. He did good at finding friends. He had friends I tought school with, friends I grew up with, friends from college, and friends in my neighborhood. Great time! He had arranged for everyone to meet at a restruant and then we came later and they yelled surprise. I was surprised at how many people were there. Mom and Dad even came up which was a surprise since they had just been up on the weekend. Thanks for the work and remembering.

I also go the chance to go to Wicked in S.F. with my friend. That was a lot of fun too! We flew down on Tues. morning, walked around the warf, out to Golden Gate Bridge, got some chocolate, did all the sight seeing things you do, then got ready for the play Tues. night, spent the night at the condo and flew home Wed. before the kids were out of school. I was a quick trip but so fun.

We spent one weekend in June camping with my family, it was fun. We went out to Lehman's Cave's. It was a long drive, but the caves were cool and we had a great time with our cousins and Grandpa and Grandma.

The next weekend we went to Colorado for a soccer tournament, we stayed with our friends the Olsen's. That was fun! We hadn't seen them in a long time and the kids had fun playing and hanging out with them. The soccer team didn't do to well in the tournament, but we had fun with our friends.

We've hit LaGoon once this summer too. We told Krista she was to big to go on the little rides; she would have to go a the big ones. She went on all the rides the boys did, some she didn't like and some she wanted to do again. The Samari was one she didn't like. The WildMouse she went on 6 or 7 times. Crazy girl.

Over the 4th of July we had our Phillips Family Campout. We went to Current Creek, it was beautiful, hot, relaxing, exciting, fun; you name it. We did a little 4-wheelin', a little boatin', a lot of eattin' and playin'. We missed those in the family that couldn't come up.

Jared goes to Scout camp next week; Kirk, Justin and I go on Trek the next week; We have family coming up for the 24th of July; and Friends coming in from Virginia the end of the month. Busy month but always good.
