This weekend we were kicking! We spent the weekend in Las Vegas at a soccer tournament. It was awesome!
We drove to St. George on Fri. and stayed with grandma and grandpa. We got up early Sat. morning (5:45am) and drove to Vegas for an 8:00 game.
The sun was shinning, the turf was green and USA was ready to play. We played the Nevada Bulldogs. USA played hard and we won our first out of state game 1-0. Austin making the only goal.

We found some "lunch" at 10:00 in the morning so the boys would be ready for another game at 12:00.
The sun was still shinning, the turf was green and USA was pumped. They played hard and looked great. We played the Neusport team, from Nevada. We had another great game and came out with another shut out, 4-0. Austin making 2, Parker making one and Amir made one.

We then went to the condo and played in the pools, played basketball (with a soccerball), played some water volleyball, and had fun before meeting the team for dinner. After dinner it was back to the condo for more fun and a good night sleep. We had Jaren and his dad, Colton, his mom and sister staying with us.

Sun. before the games we had some breakfast and played a little ping pong.

USA needed a win this morning to go on to the Finals round. We had a 10:30 game, the sun wasn't shinning and the wind was blowing, but the boys were ready to take on the Fusion Bombers from California. We played a great game, we bombed the bombers 4-0. Austin was on fire scoring 3 of the 4 goals.
So now it's on to the Finals with no one scoring on the USA team. We had a bite to eat so the boys would have some energy just not to much, and it was off to see if we could take the Colorado Edge team down.

The wind was still blowing, and we were on a new field, but the boys were wanting a win.

We played hard and looked great and came out with another win. USA beat the Colorado Edge 2-1. We had played a whole tournament with only 1 score against us. USA looked great. Austin was the leading scorer with 8 goals. He was trying for 10. He didn't do it on his own, he had a lot of help from 13 other boys.

We spent the rest of Sun. relaxing at the condo, having dinner, and driving the kids down the strip. We came home on Mon. after stopping in St. George to show grandma and grandpa the pictures, and the metal and have some lunch.

It was a fun weekend, and the USA team was awesome both on and off the field.
